Description
The guideline for funding integrative encounter measures in Baden-Württemberg supports educational institutions with a 100% grant for joint school camp stays and other events that bring together disabled and non-disabled children and adolescents. The aim is to strengthen togetherness as well as mutual appreciation in both school and extracurricular projects. Funding covers accommodation and catering costs, travel expenses for participants, entrance fees, material costs for joint projects, preparatory and follow-up expenses, as well as other program-related expenditures. The funds are available to all schools, school kindergartens, and special education and counseling centers that organize encounter measures in cooperation. Applications can be submitted continuously as long as budgetary funds are available.
A prerequisite for funding is the submission of the application through the regional cooperation offices of the state school authorities. The measure must be jointly planned and implemented by at least one general education institution and one institution with a special education focus. In the evaluation, the pronounced encounter character, the equal participation of all participants, and the close cooperation between schools with and without disabilities are decisive. Upon completion, the application form and proof of use must be submitted before the payment is made. Interested educational institutions can obtain all necessary forms and advisory services from the responsible regional cooperation offices.
