The funding for top-level team sports supports Styrian sports clubs competing in the highest Austrian leagues. Team top-level sports with a league format are eligible for funding, generally including the 1st and 2nd leagues; in football and ice hockey, the 3rd league is also considered eligible. As a grant program, it targets non-profit organizations that can demonstrably operate at the highest level in league competition and act in the interest of sustainable sports development.
Applications can be submitted continuously, with no deadline for submission. The prerequisite is the submission of original documents – such as invoices and payment confirmations – for the accounting and verification of the requested funds.
