Description
This initiative promotes the procurement and installation of dynamic load management systems in residential buildings with more than four apartments or over ten parking spaces, as well as intelligent e-charging stations (wall boxes or mobile charging cables) with a minimum output of 11 kW in Styria. The goal is to reduce climate- and health-damaging emissions and to strengthen technology development, regional value creation, and employment. At the same time, owners, owners' associations, authorized property management companies, developers, and private individuals with an e-car registered in Styria are supported in implementing sustainable charging infrastructure and thus advancing the energy transition.
Up to 30% of eligible investment costs are funded, with a maximum base subsidy of €5,000 for load management systems (plus €2,500 for every additional 50 charging points) as well as up to €300 for a wall box or €100 for an intelligent charging cable. Eligible costs include materials and installation, electrical supply lines, data connection, reinforcement of the house connection, structural measures, assembly, and planning (up to 10%). Requirements include main residence or company headquarters in Styria, installation by a certified electrical company, use of new components, operation with green electricity or own PV system (at least 1.5 kWp per charging point), and a minimum operational period of four years. Applications must be submitted within six months after invoice submission; the application deadline is December 31, 2025.
