- Holiday care at full-day school forms must be available on all weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to at least 4:00 p.m. (if needed until 6:00 p.m.)
- Investments in infrastructural measures must comply with thriftiness, economic efficiency, and appropriateness

Description
The state funding in Tyrol is aimed at public institutions to expand and permanently secure a comprehensive offer of school day care for students aged 6 to 15 years. With the goal that 40% of this age group and 85% of general compulsory schools provide full-day care forms, the measure includes care on all school days from 07:00 to at least 16:00 (if needed until 18:00) as well as extracurricular holiday care on weekdays from 08:00 to 16:00. Applications can be submitted from 01.09.2017 to 31.12.2033.
Purpose grants as start-up financing as well as investments in the school infrastructure of full-day school forms are funded, including structural measures and the equipment of learning and play areas. Personnel costs for qualified care staff who meet the legal school requirements are also covered. Public school authorities and institutions endowed with public law benefit from subsidies for educational specialists and additional care hours during the holidays. A socially graduated fee regulation is oriented towards the financial capacity of families. Investments must comply with the principles of thriftiness, economy, and appropriateness, while group sizes of up to 25 children are to be maintained. Expansion plans must be prepared by the end of 2019 and updated annually until the end of the funding period to ensure demand-oriented and sustainable development. Applications can be submitted until the end of 2033.
