Funding of Family Support Institutions

Within the framework of the funding initiative, institutions providing family support in Vorarlberg are financially supported, offering short-term relief through care and household services at home. The aim of the measure is to enable institutions with professional expertise to actively assist families in crisis situations for a limited period. The focus is on maintaining the familiar daily routine, improving deficit situations, and preventing acute emergencies. The funding is directed at non-profit organizations, interest groups, associations, as well as public institutions that possess the appropriate qualifications in the fields of social services, child and youth welfare. Continuous application submission has been possible since January 1, 2013, ensuring flexible and needs-based project planning.

A prerequisite for funding is proof of professional qualification in family support, as well as the submission of a complete business concept, financial statements including accounting, an activity report, and a service agreement. The form of funding consists of direct grants intended to cover personnel and organizational expenses, thereby ensuring reliable support for family assistance. With regard to regional networking in Vorarlberg, co-financing contributions from municipalities are planned to ensure sustainable implementation. Interested institutions may submit their applications independently of fixed deadlines and address them to the responsible state office. Through targeted funding, innovative care models can be further developed and the quality of life of affected families sustainably improved.
