Description
Regional funding measures in Tyrol offer companies, cooperatives, associations, municipalities, and other public-law institutions the opportunity to secure training positions and sustainably improve the quality of apprenticeship training. With the aim of maintaining a high number of apprenticeships and reducing youth unemployment, project-related initiatives across the entire apprenticeship sector are supported – from practice-oriented workshops and digitization projects to qualification modules. As a non-repayable grant, the program promotes investments in education and training to raise awareness for apprenticeship training and to strengthen Tyrol as a business location in the long term.
Only project-related costs in the apprenticeship sector are eligible for funding; non-eligible costs include, among others, the acquisition of land, leasing rates, taxes (except VAT for beneficiaries not entitled to input tax deduction), procedural and bank fees, financing costs, as well as tax consultancy fees. Eligible applicants are sole proprietorships, partnerships and corporations, cooperatives and associations, as well as municipalities, municipal associations, tourism associations, and other public-law institutions with headquarters or branches in Tyrol or conducting activities in the region. A prerequisite is the written submission of the funding application before the start of the requested funding period. The application must include a detailed project description including a cost and financing overview, a declaration of requested or already granted subsidies, as well as a de minimis certificate. Continuous application submission has been possible since 01.01.2023; funding is unlimited as long as the funding objectives are achieved.
