The promotion of clubs in sports matters in Vienna supports sports clubs and interest groups that have a direct connection to the police. The aim is to strengthen trust in the executive through joint sporting activities, increase the population's sense of security, and reduce apprehension between private individuals and police officers. Eligible for funding are, in particular, the organization of training courses, competitions, and other events with a police connection, as well as the construction, renovation, or expansion of sports facilities.
