Description

The state of Baden-Württemberg strengthens non-formal adult education through this funding measure by providing grants to recognized continuing education providers. The goal is to secure the diversity and spatial availability of training and continuing education offerings statewide and to enhance the importance of lifelong learning. Both the conceptual qualification and the professional training and further education of the full-time and part-time staff of the institution are supported. This aims to sustainably strengthen the professionalism of teaching, counseling, and organizational processes.

Eligible to apply are institutions within the meaning of §§ 2 and 5 WBiFöG, including adult education centers, church educational organizations, as well as other state-recognized continuing education providers. A prerequisite for funding is official recognition in accordance with the aforementioned paragraphs. Since continuous funding opportunities exist, applicants can flexibly plan their conceptual and structural development projects. The funding is provided within the framework of the available budgetary resources of the Ministry of Education and pursues the overarching goal of promoting non-formal qualification and thereby the social participation of all learners interested in education.
