Description

The promotion of economic initiatives with regional economic significance supports companies, cooperatives, associations, as well as public-law entities based in Tyrol in the implementation of projects, initiatives, and measures that are not covered by the regular economic or technology funding programs. Designed as a non-repayable grant, the funding amount is individually adjusted to the scope of the submitted project. Applications can be submitted informally before the project starts and may be made in writing at any time, ensuring continuous application submission without fixed deadlines. Since its introduction in September 2013, this measure has contributed to strengthening regional value creation and providing impulses for sustainable economic development.

Eligible for funding are sole proprietorships, registered partnerships and corporations, cooperatives, municipalities, municipal associations, tourism associations, as well as other public-law institutions. The basis for funding is a precise project description including a cost and financing overview, details of own contributions, and evidence of requested or already granted funding. If necessary, a declaration regarding de minimis aid received in the past two years must be provided. The determination of eligible costs is based on the specific project objective and takes place during the application processing. Interested economic entities can find comprehensive information on the application process and legal framework conditions in the relevant funding guidelines of the State of Tyrol.
