Funding of Central Tasks of Youth Organizations

In Baden-Württemberg, non-profit organizations as well as interest groups and associations have access to an ongoing grant opportunity that sustainably supports central tasks of both organized and open youth work. This initiative aims to stimulate and support the development of young people by strengthening projects in the areas of children and youth, social issues, and engagement for social cohesion and democracy. Eligible for funding are independent providers of youth work in Baden-Württemberg who carry out organized or open projects for children and young people. A prerequisite for receiving a grant is proof of non-profit status and a registered office in the federal state. The goal is to support youth welfare offices and the state youth welfare office in their functions and to enable a qualified further development of existing offerings. Through needs-based funding, the program makes an important contribution to social cohesion and the promotion of democracy at the local level.
