Description
In Tyrol and Vienna, this funding is aimed at low-income families to enable children up to the 9th grade in compulsory schools to participate in multi-day school events such as ski camps, Vienna week, or project week. Eligible applicants are custodians living in the same household as the child and receiving family allowance. The support provides a one-time, non-repayable grant covering the documented participation fees and covers up to 60 % of the costs depending on income, with a maximum of €150 per event. This is intended to particularly strengthen the class community as well as promote integration and social participation. Applications must be submitted electronically before the start of the event and can be made until 31.12.2027.
Another requirement is a household income below the upper limit specified in the guidelines and the main residence in Tyrol. Only school events in Austria lasting at least three days (two overnight stays) are eligible for funding. The application must be accompanied by a current household confirmation from the municipality of residence. The open, ongoing funding opportunity ensures flexible application for all suitable projects within the country and supports parents and guardians in enabling children to gain valuable learning experiences outside the classroom.
