Description
The Digital Marketing Voucher is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises with active membership in the Austrian Chambers of Commerce as well as the Chambers of Civil Engineers and supports online marketing activities conducted for the first time in the selected target country. With a subsidy rate of 50%, eligible net costs of up to €10,000 per application are co-financed. Funded activities include search engine campaigns, advertising on social media platforms and online marketplaces, as well as accompanying services such as concept development, setup and management by agencies, content production (photos, videos, texts), display and video advertising, and influencer campaigns. A prerequisite is, among other things, the "New to digital marketing" criterion, which prohibits significant online advertising activities in the target country in the past three years, as well as compliance with the EU de minimis regulation. A total of up to three applications can be submitted until December 31, 2026; the respective performance period covers a maximum of nine months.
The program aims to strengthen the internationalization of Austrian companies and expand their market position abroad. Applicants must provide proof of the marketability of their products or services and, if applicable, demonstrate a technology or sustainability bonus to increase the maximum funding amount. Costs incurred prior to application submission, personnel costs, ongoing hosting and software fees, as well as participation in online events, are among those not eligible for funding. A thorough application review assesses coherence, prospects of success, and the macroeconomic benefit of the planned activities. Processing is carried out via the online funding account of the Chambers of Commerce, where applications are submitted and accounting documents uploaded – applications are possible until December 31, 2026.
