Description

The funding program go-international IO-VIII Project Business Voucher supports Viennese SMEs in the internationalization of their own goods and services. The goal is to build strategic networks and expertise to increase the chances of successful participation in international tenders of public institutions, projects of international financial institutions (IFI), as well as innovation programs (e.g., Horizon Europe, LIFE, Creative Europe, EIT). Eligible applicants are active members of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber or the Chambers of Civil Engineers with demonstrably substantial value creation (at least 25%) in Austria, who have developed their products beyond the prototype or small series stage. Applications must be submitted by December 31, 2026, at the latest, and can be submitted up to three times to the responsible WKO, depending on budget availability.

Project-related consulting costs (proposal writing, data research, pre-feasibility studies), marketing materials, training measures, event and travel expenses in the target country are funded at a rate of 50%. The maximum funding amount is €7,500 per application and increases by €2,500 up to €10,000 if a technology or sustainability bonus is met. Within a performance period of up to 18 months (no later than March 31, 2027), all invoices and payment receipts can be submitted digitally via the WKO funding account. Parallel funding through other federal programs is excluded. Processing is carried out according to the general framework guidelines for federal funding and the de minimis regulation. Evaluation and reporting obligations ensure that funds are used economically, purposefully, and transparently.
