Golden Plan Brandenburg

Golden Plan Brandenburg specifically promotes the expansion and modernization of sports facilities in Brandenburg. As a grant, the funding is aimed at interest groups, other clubs, public institutions, and non-profit organizations active in all districts and independent cities of Brandenburg. The Brandenburg State Sports Federation accepts applications, placing particular emphasis on the need and current condition of the sports facility. Barrier-free and sustainable execution is equally considered, as is the compatibility of the project with the statewide sports promotion strategy. The goal is to create contemporary infrastructures that meet the demands of both recreational and competitive sports and strengthen social cohesion in the long term.

To apply, a fully completed application form, a detailed project description, and a cost and financing plan must be submitted. Evaluation focuses especially on the necessity of the measure, the quality of planning regarding energy efficiency and accessibility, as well as the strategic integration into existing state sports promotion programs. Sports clubs, municipal sponsors, and other operators of public or non-profit sports facilities can thus structurally renew or expand their sports venues. The funding is provided by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the State of Brandenburg (MBJS), with implementation carried out by the Brandenburg State Sports Federation e.V. Through this initiative, the state makes a sustainable contribution to strengthening sports infrastructure and promoting physical activity and health in all regions of Brandenburg.
