Description

In the federal state of Salzburg, an ongoing funding program is available to strengthen independent providers in their socio-pedagogical and social work. The objective is to enable group offerings for children, adolescents, and families – including parent-child groups, general and specialized counseling services, as well as experiential recreational activities. The funding, provided as a non-repayable grant, supports non-profit organizations, interest groups, or associations in implementing low-threshold and target group-appropriate measures. Since January 1, 2014, applications can be submitted at any time to address regional needs and establish sustainable services for young people and their caregivers.

Particularly interested are institutions that have suitable premises and qualified professional staff, as well as the ability to guarantee the economic efficiency of their projects. A prerequisite is consent to financial audits by state authorities or the state audit office, as well as compliance with the general guidelines of the state of Salzburg. The application must include, among other documents, the funding request, the most recent annual financial statement, the budget for the funding year, statutes or bylaws for first-time applicants, and detailed project descriptions with cost estimates and planned cost accounting. Additional documents must be attached in accordance with the state’s requirements. This funding provides providers with the necessary support to successfully implement sustainable group offerings in Salzburg.
