Description
This funding initiative specifically supports the expenses for inpatient, day-care, and outpatient care measures for homeless individuals with additional complex issues in Lower Austria. Eligible for funding are both non-profit organizations and public institutions that provide the corresponding services. A prerequisite for approval is a social authority permit according to §§ 49 ff. NÖ SHG (for inpatient services), proof of concrete need, as well as a legally compliant contract with the State of Lower Austria pursuant to § 48 paragraphs 3 and 4 NÖ SHG. Furthermore, the individuals receiving care must have Austrian citizenship or equivalent status, demonstrate their need for assistance, and reside in Lower Austria.
The funding is provided as a grant and is continuously available; applications can be submitted at any time. Only reimbursements for direct care are funded – capital investments and administrative costs without service provision are not considered. Evaluation is based on proof of need and compliance with legal requirements.
