Description

The funding is aimed at people with disabilities within the meaning of § 24 NÖ-SHG who have their main residence or stay in the region. The goal is sustainable participation in the labor market through needs-based measures such as suitability assessments, work training, career-oriented school visits or courses, and targeted support at the future workplace by qualified professionals. Financial resources are paid directly to the sponsoring institutions or employers once an application is approved.
Applications can be submitted indefinitely to the responsible municipality, district administrative authority, or state government. Funding prerequisites include Austrian citizenship or equivalence, as well as the absence of entitlement to comparable benefits under other legal provisions. Eligible expenses cover all costs related to career orientation, training, retraining, further education, and workplace trials. The unlimited submission window allows affected individuals to respond flexibly to their vocational development and utilize appropriately funded offers. This support opens new perspectives for a self-determined career entry and strengthens equal opportunities for people with disabilities in the labor market.
