- Main residence in the state of Salzburg
- Austrian citizenship or persons equated according to S.THG
- Applicant has no possibility to receive equivalent benefits due to legal, statutory, or contractual regulations

Description
Assistance for social participation in the state of Salzburg is aimed at people with disabilities who wish to lead as self-determined and responsible a life as possible. As an ongoing grant program, it covers measures in the area of residential support and other social participation and enables the coverage of individual needs through financial assistance. Private applicants with their main residence in the state of Salzburg may submit corresponding funding applications at any time before the start of a measure. The granted subsidy is based on personal needs and contributes to sustainably strengthening social integration and quality of life. Through close cooperation with institutions for disability assistance, needs-based care is ensured, placing the concept of participation according to the Salzburg Participation Act at the center.
A prerequisite for approval is the presence of a disability within the meaning of the Salzburg Participation Act as well as Austrian citizenship or an equivalent residence status. Applicants must not already have access to similar benefits through other legal or contractual regulations. For the application, among other documents, registration certificates, income proofs, evidence of care allowance receipt, and, if applicable, power of attorney documents are required. A decision on the funding amount is made based on the submitted documents and the individual needs assessment. The support aims to reduce barriers in everyday life and open up long-term participation opportunities.
