Description
In the state of Salzburg, a one-time financial aid is available for agricultural and forestry enterprises that have fallen into an emergency situation through no fault of their own – for example, due to serious illness, death of the management, or uninsured natural events. The funding instrument provides a direct grant aimed at alleviating or eliminating an emergency caused by extraordinary events. The payment is made uncomplicatedly based on the submitted documents; support for ongoing operating expenses is excluded. The grant is designed as de minimis aid and can amount to up to €4,000 per enterprise per year (in particularly tragic family cases, it can be increased by up to 50%). Applications can be submitted continuously until December 31, 2028.
Eligible applicants are natural persons who operate an agricultural or forestry enterprise in their own name and on their own account, with their farmstead located in the state of Salzburg. Before applying, the incurred damage must not be covered by insurance or other public social assistance. The emergency situation through no fault of their own must be confirmed by the responsible district farmers' chamber, and a completed de minimis form must be attached to the application. Additionally, proof of income and asset status as well as the official application form from the district farmers' chamber or the Salzburg Chamber of Agriculture are required. Applications are to be submitted directly to the district farmers' chambers or via the Chamber of Agriculture; timely submission ensures prompt review and disbursement of the funds.
