Description

The Incoming Mobility Scholarship is aimed at international students, graduates, doctoral candidates, and postdocs who wish to undertake studies or research work at Austrian universities, universities of applied sciences, or scientific institutions. Under the umbrella of OeAD-GmbH – Agency for Education and Internationalization – a supportive framework is created that contributes to further internationalizing Austria as a location for higher education and research. Financial support is provided as a direct grant and is awarded continuously, allowing applications to be submitted at any time. The program is accessible nationwide and opens up new perspectives in the fields of education, training and further education, research & innovation, as well as science.

The objective of the funding is the awarding of scholarships that serve to carry out study or research projects, thereby enabling a close integration of international scientific expertise with Austrian research institutions. A prerequisite for the grant is the fulfillment of the program criteria (including country of origin, age limit, field of study, scientific qualification, and the professional relevance of the project). Through the funding, a competitive, internationally aligned higher education and research environment is created that intensifies interdisciplinary exchange and supports long-term cooperation.
