Inclusive Apprenticeship Support in Vienna: The inclusion bonus supports Viennese training companies in employing apprentices with a disability pass throughout the entire apprenticeship period or an extended training duration. A monthly subsidy is granted in the amount of the currently valid compensation fee according to § 9 para. 2 BEinstG, thereby fully covering the additional personnel costs for companies. This funding offer thus makes an important contribution to inclusive vocational training and equal opportunities in the primary labor market.
Requirements and Procedure: Eligible for funding are companies based in Vienna that conclude a valid apprenticeship or training contract with a qualifying person and present their disability pass. Applications can be submitted at any time – there is no deadline. The apprenticeship contract and proof of the disability pass are required for submission. The processing takes place annually in arrears; the responsible authority reviews the duration of the training relationship and the validity of the disability pass. In case of premature apprenticeship change or extension, the funding can be reapplied for the remaining period. This flexible model relieves and motivates companies equally during economically challenging phases and under special training conditions to offer young people with disabilities long-term prospects.
