Description
In Tyrol, the State of Tyrol provides targeted investment funds for care and support facilities within the framework of a grant program. Eligible for funding are companies, non-profit organizations, as well as public institutions active in the fields of health, social affairs, and infrastructure or urban development. The objective of the measure is to support the expansion, new construction, and securing of inpatient and mobile care services in supply regions 72, 73, and 74 in accordance with the specifications of the Care Structure Plan 2023–2033. This ensures comprehensive, local care for people in need of care and sustainably strengthens the infrastructure for nursing and care homes, short-term, and day care facilities.
Funding is provided for new buildings of senior and nursing homes, extensions and expansions, comprehensive general renovations, as well as pilot projects to test new care offerings. Study and research assignments aimed at optimizing regional supply structures are also eligible for application. Compliance with construction requirements (e.g., room sizes, total usable area per care place, construction costs, and equipment) as well as the guidelines of housing promotion is a prerequisite. Applications can be submitted until December 31, 2028. Project documents, plans, and cost estimates must be enclosed with the application to enable a well-founded assessment of eligibility for funding.
