Description

Children's Traffic Education in Vorarlberg is aimed at associations, parents, schools, kindergartens, traffic clubs, police, as well as committed private individuals with proven experience in children's traffic education. As a grant program, it continuously supports initiatives and projects that raise awareness of mobility and safety in road traffic among the youngest. Funded are measures targeting children and adolescents that convey sustainable traffic understanding through practical, experience-oriented learning methods. The continuous submission option ensures that creative concepts and proven activities always receive the necessary financial support.

The focus of the funding is on diverse activities: statewide school competitions such as "Minus Ten Percent," practical training formats ("Top Rider," "Club PS," "Hallo Auto"), playful awareness elements through Glowworm and Clown Woman campaigns, as well as blind spot exercises with trucks. Additionally, travel expenses to school traffic kindergartens can be covered, and equipment as well as infrastructure can be modernized – from the purchase and repair of bicycles and mopeds to the acquisition of bike helmets and the maintenance of traffic practice areas. Through this targeted funding, the program makes an important contribution to strengthening the traffic competence of young people and promotes safe coexistence in public spaces.
