To fulfill their parliamentary duties, in particular to ensure orderly management, as well as for holding meetings and inquiries, training and further education events, engaging experts, and the expenses for public relations, representation, and honors, the parliamentary groups and interest groups of members of parliament are entitled to a contribution from the state.

Description
The club funding of the Carinthian state supports parliamentary clubs and interest groups of deputies in fulfilling their parliamentary duties in Carinthia. With an unlimited duration and applications possible at any time, financial participation is granted as a subsidy to ensure proper management as well as the organization and implementation of internal meetings and inquiries. In addition, training and further education events can be realized, experts can be consulted, and expenses for public relations, representations, and honors can be covered. Eligible for funding are registered interest groups and associations that are established in the Carinthian state parliament as a club or interest group and use the funds in accordance with the designated purpose.
The aim of the funding is to strengthen social cohesion and democratic processes as well as to ensure professional advice and support for parliamentary activities. Funding requirements include the continued existence of a parliamentary club or interest group and the appropriate use of the approved funds. Covered are personnel and material expenses, costs for meetings, inquiries, training, expert fees, as well as expenses for public relations, representations, and honors. The processing is carried out by Department 2 – Finance, Participations and R&D of the Office of the Carinthian State Government. Through the legal basis (§§ 81b–h K-LTGO), transparent and continuous funding is ensured, supporting sustainable and targeted work of the parliamentary groups.
