Description
The KMU.DIGITAL 4.0 – Tool PA3 program offers small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Vienna, as well as founders, the opportunity to conduct a status and potential analysis in the field of IT and cybersecurity with a subsidy of up to 80% (max. €400). In an approximately half-day consultation, a certified expert works together with the company using a standardized checklist to identify existing security gaps and derive concrete measures to strengthen the digital infrastructure. The aim of the funding is to raise awareness of IT risks, identify areas for action, and facilitate the entry into further digitization and transformation projects. The consultation can be conducted in person, digitally, or in a hybrid format and is processed via the funding manager’s submission platform.
Eligibility criteria for funding include a valid trade license in Austria, SME status according to the EU definition, and a registered office or place of business in Vienna. Only consulting costs are eligible for funding; expenses, travel costs, and services provided before the application date are not eligible. Strategic consultations on IT and cybersecurity are supported at 50% up to €1,000. Applications can be submitted electronically on an ongoing basis from May 21, 2024, until the budget is exhausted; required documents include the online application form, the consultant’s invoice, proof of payment, and the consultation report.
