Reimbursement of Costs for Summons by a Health Insurance Provider

The funding program grants private individuals in Vienna a 100% subsidy to reimburse necessary out-of-pocket expenses as well as documented loss of earnings incurred in connection with a summons by a health insurance provider for interrogation or medical examination. The aim is to offset financial hardships and secure access to social insurance procedures. The funding is classified as a social insurance benefit and helps ensure that affected individuals can fulfill their legal obligation to cooperate without additional financial burden.

All out-of-pocket expenses and actual loss of income are eligible for funding, provided they are proven by the formal summons. Applications can be submitted continuously to the Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection, Section II; personal contact details are not required. A prerequisite for the grant is that the costs clearly arose within the scope of the official summons and can be substantiated by receipts or employer confirmations. This funding aims to unbureaucratically reimburse all expenses that individuals must bear due to their cooperation in social insurance examinations or investigations.
