In addition to outpatient services, funding is provided for accommodation and care in partial inpatient and inpatient facilities, such as therapy centers for children and adolescents with cerebral motor disorders or specialized facilities for individuals with addiction. Payments are made directly to the service providers as soon as the eligible scope of services has been determined. Applications can be submitted at any time without a deadline, ensuring flexible access to urgently needed health measures.
Eligible for funding are people with disabilities according to § 24 NÖ-SHG as well as individuals who have special support needs due to a cerebral motor disorder or an addiction. Additionally required are Austrian citizenship or equivalent status, a primary residence or stay in Lower Austria, and the exclusion of similar benefits from other legal, statutory, or contractual regulations. Cost coverage for medical assistance, therapeutic assistance, remedies, as well as accommodation and care is initiated via a simple application form. This open-ended subsidy funding ensures that vulnerable groups gain access to essential health services, thereby sustainably improving their quality of life.
