Description

The apprenticeship support program of the State of Burgenland offers a monthly subsidy of up to €233 for trainees with their main residence in Burgenland. The aim of this measure is to secure vocational training, compensate for structurally induced disadvantages in the labor market, and increase both professional and local mobility. Both the regular apprenticeship subsidy and an additional housing cost subsidy, depending on the year of apprenticeship, are funded. Applying parents or adult trainees with an annual gross income of no more than €50,000 can apply for funding during the active apprenticeship year, at the latest until the completion or termination of the training, for a maximum of four apprenticeship years (apprenticeships with a matriculation certificate excluded).

To apply, among other documents, a fully completed application form, proof of apprenticeship remuneration and family allowance, income evidence of all maintenance obligors, as well as the training contract and a confirmation from the training company must be submitted. Quarterly payments are made after submission of the required documents.
