Description
The NEBA Operational Service in Vienna aims to sustainably strengthen the integration of people with disabilities and young people requiring assistance into the general labor market. It offers companies and project sponsors a combination of expert information, individually tailored advice, and coordinated funding management in close coordination with employment assistance. Services include, among others, the provision of legal and organizational framework conditions, support in finding suitable employees, and guidance throughout the entire funding process. As a permanent grant program, applications have been continuously possible since 01/01/2024. The funds are used directly for consulting and support services, enabling inclusion projects to be implemented efficiently.
Eligible for funding are companies, non-profit organizations, interest groups, and other associations based in Vienna that can demonstrate successful experience in advising and supporting operational integration processes as well as sound knowledge of people with disabilities and young people requiring assistance. The legal basis is derived from § 10a para. 1 lit. d in conjunction with § 6 para. 2 lit. b BEinstG, the framework guideline "Vocational Participation," and the NEBA Operational Service guideline. As a permanent program without a budget cap, it contributes to flexibly supporting individual project initiatives and establishing barrier-free work environments. The focus is on needs-based concept development, interdisciplinary exchange, and sustainable impact analysis. Applications can be submitted informally to Section IV – Group A of the Federal Ministry for Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection and have been continuously possible since 01/01/2024. The funding makes a significant contribution to expanding inclusive structures in the Vienna labor market.
