Project Funding for Hamburg

The North German Foundation for Environment and Development (NUE) supports exemplary initiatives in Hamburg through its project funding in the areas of environmental/nature conservation, educational projects for sustainable development, development cooperation, as well as development policy and intercultural educational work. When applying, a fully completed application form, a detailed project description, and a comprehensive cost and financing plan must be submitted. The funds are granted as subsidies, meaning the financial support does not have to be repaid, provided the stipulated conditions are met.

The project funding is aimed at organizations that wish to implement innovative and sustainable concepts to promote environment and education in Hamburg. The funding supports projects that demonstrate not only professional expertise but also pursue interdisciplinary approaches – from environmental education to cooperation in development cooperation.
