Description
The funding program “Training Costs for People with Disabilities” supports privately entitled persons residing in Vienna according to § 2 para. 1 and 3 or § 10a para. 3 BEinstG in their professional integration. All expenses directly related to necessary educational measures are funded, including training costs, continuing education costs, as well as costs of work trials. The goal is to facilitate access to the labor market and create long-term employment prospects. Disability-related external training and continuing education within the framework of an existing employment relationship can also be fully covered. The measure is continuously open, and applications can be submitted at any time.
The grant covers 100% of eligible expenses and is based on the legal foundation in the Disability Employment Act (§ 6 para. 2 lit. e BEinstG) as well as the framework guideline on “Professional Participation of People with Disabilities.” The funding allocation is carried out by the Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection – Section IV, Group A, and is administered through the Social Ministry Service. Applicants submit documentation of the planned measures and, if necessary, have external training providers confirm them. Payment is made after submission of verified proof of performance. Additionally, the NEBA network offers accompanying advice and funding management in close cooperation with the Public Employment Service. The comprehensive funding strengthens the participation of people with disabilities in all phases of their professional careers.
