Description

The Federal Ministry of Finance in Vienna provides earmarked funds from fines and penalties imposed in disciplinary proceedings against officials of the department once a year for welfare-oriented projects within the ministry. As a grant-funded support measure, this initiative is explicitly aimed at officials of the Finance Department and supports measures for social care and personal security. Applications can be submitted continuously from January 1, 2024, as there is no application deadline. The annual reuse of funds ensures continuous support, with the approved amounts regularly reported and updated quarterly in the transparency database.

With the goal of enhancing the well-being and social concerns of officials, the program promotes a wide range of initiatives – from psychosocial counseling services to supplementary measures in health and leisure. Administration is carried out in an unbureaucratic and transparent manner to enable swift utilization. Thanks to low administrative costs and the clearly defined funding purpose, the focus remains consistently on improving the working and living conditions within the Federal Ministry of Finance. The financial allocation amounts to €0.06 million and is based on the collected penalty sums. Interested officials can obtain all relevant information from the funding agency in Vienna, where the application form is also available.
