Funding objective
The goal of the Tyrolean tourism promotion is to ensure the positive development of tourism in Tyrol in order to strengthen economic performance and competitiveness. Investment projects aimed at significantly improving the operational structure and/or the offerings in the small-structured Tyrolean tourism economy are supported.

- Micro and small enterprises in the tourism and leisure industry and operators of tourism-relevant infrastructures
- For personnel infrastructure and digitization funding, medium-sized enterprises are also eligible
- Submission of the application before the project start and no later than 31.12.2027
- Compliance with the requirements of the funding guideline "Economic Promotion Program Tourism and Regionality"

Description
The Tyrolean Tourism Promotion supports micro, small, and, under the focus areas "personnel infrastructure" and "digitalization," also medium-sized enterprises in the tourism and leisure industry in Tyrol. The goal is the sustainable strengthening of economic performance and competitiveness through the promotion of forward-looking investment projects. Measures supported include realignment, takeover, and barrier reduction in the hotel industry, quality and service improvements of small accommodation and gastronomy businesses, revitalization and preservation of traditional Tyrolean inns, as well as the expansion of tourist infrastructure. Additionally, investments in software and hardware for digital process optimization and in staff accommodations can be supported. The maximum funding rate is 5% of eligible expenses, with a regional or personnel infrastructure eligibility bonus of up to 2.5% and a sustainability bonus of 5,000 euros possible.
Eligible costs include, among others, construction, furnishing, and planning expenses, the purchase of staff accommodations, as well as the acquisition of digital systems; land acquisition, pure repairs, vehicles, or marketing measures are not funded. Applications must be submitted electronically before the project start and no later than December 31, 2027. For the application, a detailed project description, cost breakdown, financial statements of the last two fiscal years, business planning including liquidity calculation, financing commitment, official permits, certificates for the sustainability bonus, and a statement from the local municipality are required. Selection is based on economic business development, expected project impacts, degree of innovation, investment volume relative to company size, as well as consideration of energy efficiency and resource conservation.
