Environmental Funding - Efficient Energy Use

The Environmental Promotion – Efficient Energy Use in Vienna supports companies, other entrepreneurial organizations, associations, local authorities, as well as religious institutions in investments aimed at optimized energy use. As a direct grant provided by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Climate and Environment, the program ensures that energy-related projects do not fail due to funding deadlines: there is no application deadline, and applications can be submitted at any time. Through close cooperation with Kommunalkredit Public Consulting as the processing agency, funding procedures are efficiently organized and transparency requirements are met. The program aims to reduce CO₂ emissions and sustainably strengthen supply security in the capital region.

With regard to climate protection and economic efficiency, the program particularly supports energy-efficient lighting systems, heat recovery systems, heating optimizations, and efficiency improvements in industrial processes.
