Environmental Promotion - Renewable Energy Sources

The "Environmental Promotion – Renewable Energy Sources" supports companies, entrepreneurial organizations, associations, as well as local authorities and religious institutions based in Vienna in converting their heat and energy supply to sustainable sources. Funding is provided for investments in biomass boilers, solar systems, heat pumps, or connections to district heating networks, as well as measures for the use of wind energy, hydropower, and geothermal energy. The goal is the significant reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the establishment of a future-proof, competitive energy system in Viennese businesses and communities. The funding is granted as a direct subsidy without a fixed budget volume and can be applied for continuously. All economic actors and public institutions with an operational or association headquarters in Vienna who wish to align their energy supply with renewable sources qualify to apply. Submissions are possible at any time, as the funding period is unlimited.
