Support for Events and Activities of Agricultural and Forestry Professional Associations

The funding program supports agricultural and forestry professional associations of the federal state of Salzburg as well as the Salzburg Rural Youth in the planning and implementation of topic-specific events and activities. The goal is to strengthen professional exchange formats and educational offerings in the fields of agriculture and rural development. Event series, workshops, expert lectures, and excursions with demonstrated financial necessity are eligible for funding. Subsidies can cover organizational expenses, speaker fees, and infrastructural costs, provided these expenses would not be feasible without public funds. The funding is based on the general guidelines for granting subsidies of the state of Salzburg and is aligned with the principle of gender mainstreaming implementation as well as compliance with EU competition and state aid law.

Applicants must submit a detailed funding application and a project description before submission, clearly outlining the purpose, budget plan, in-kind contributions, and third-party funding. Information regarding the legal status and representation authority of the organization, financing plan, and statutes are part of the application documents. Applications must be submitted in a timely manner before the start of the event and require positive approval. After project completion, original invoices and proof of payment must be submitted; disbursement will only occur after review of the accounting documents. The maximum grant amount is specified in the approval notice.
