Description

With the Pre-Module Production School, the Social Ministry Service supports non-profit organizations and public institutions nationwide in establishing stepwise entry modules for young people after completing their schooling. Within the thematic areas of vocational training & further education, education, social affairs, children and youth, as well as work & social affairs, the funding enables reduced formal requirements and shorter attendance times. Through individual coaching and structured case management, participants are gradually introduced to advanced training opportunities. As a direct funding measure in the form of a grant, continuous funds have been available since January 1, 2020, with applications accepted until the budget is exhausted. The measure is characterized by streamlined administrative processing and lowers organizational barriers for project-related implementation on site. The focus is on practice-oriented preparation that enables sustainable learning success and places the individual development of young people at the center.

Funding is provided for programs that offer young people under 21 a smooth transition to participation in the Production School (Reference number 1045442) or into subsequent apprenticeships as well as further educational pathways. A prerequisite is that staff demonstrate pedagogical qualifications and that the measure is specifically tailored to this target group. The award decision is made within the framework of a call by the Social Ministry Service. Providers can submit applications continuously; allocation is made following substantive review. With a budget of 3.55 million euros, the aim is to accelerate the integration of young people into the labor market and sustainably reduce youth unemployment. This creates a tailored funding offer that strengthens individual potential and opens up long-term prospects for successful professional development.
