Description
With the Vienna Nursing Training Bonus, the Vienna Employees' Promotion Fund (waff) supports training in the fields of initial & further education, education, health, social affairs, as well as work & social services. Private individuals in Vienna receive a monthly subsidy of 630 euros, which can be paid retroactively for up to three months after the start of training. The aim of this direct funding is to create structural and financial incentives to make nursing assistance, nursing specialist assistance, bachelor's degree programs in health and nursing, as well as recognized social care professions at Viennese training institutions more attractive. As a result, the bonus significantly contributes to securing qualified professionals and strengthens training in a key future-oriented field.
Requirements and Procedure: Applications can be submitted online no earlier than after the start of training and are possible until completion (no later than 31.12.2025). Prerequisites include active participation at a recognized Viennese training institution, proof of a current registration certificate (not older than four weeks), a signed "Consent and Confirmation," as well as a valid official photo ID. Receiving benefits from the Public Employment Service (AMS) is not permitted. Due to the clear structure of the funding requirements and transparent processing, participants quickly gain certainty about their eligibility for funding and benefit from reliable financial support during their training in Vienna.
