The funding call of the Lower Austrian Civil Protection Association is aimed at municipalities, operators of critical infrastructures, as well as relevant companies and private individuals based or operating in Lower Austria. The goal is the implementation of blackout and special disaster protection plans in local municipalities. Innovative concepts and measures that significantly increase the resilience of municipal and infrastructural systems against large-scale power outages or exceptional damage scenarios are supported. The grants enable the development and testing of tailored protection and deployment strategies to strengthen supply security and operational capability in crisis situations.
The funding initiative starts on 01.01.2024 and remains open until the allocated funding volume is exhausted.
