Description
With this open-ended funding, the state of Upper Austria supports non-profit associations, interest groups, and private legal entities in the fields of migration as well as engagement for social cohesion, democracy, labor, and social affairs. Applications can be submitted continuously regardless of deadlines, provided the application is submitted before the project starts. The aim of the measure is to equip associations with personnel and material resources to carry out impact-oriented integration work and promote sustainable processes. The funding is provided in the form of a direct, non-repayable grant. A complete financial plan and documentation ensure a solid basis for transparent use of funds. The funding is awarded by the Office of the Upper Austrian State Government, Directorate for Social Affairs and Health, Department of Social Affairs.
Eligible expenses include both ongoing costs and project-related expenses such as fees, rents, material purchases, or training measures. Conditions for funding include economical, efficient, and appropriate use of funds as well as the reasonableness of the submitted cost items. Applicants must submit a completed and signed application form, statutes, a detailed concept or activity description, a budget and financing plan, as well as final proofs of use in the form of a project report, income-expenditure statement, or balance sheet. Original invoices and payment receipts must be submitted as needed to ensure transparent accounting. Regular audits, including on-site inspections and document checks, ensure the proper use of funds. This funding enables committed organizations to design their integration projects sustainably and establish effective services for migrants.
