Description
The funding program "Grant for Mobile Care and Support Services" is aimed at individuals in need of care and support with their main residence in Tyrol. It enables tailored assistance through contracted mobile service providers as a supplementary service to family care. Funded services include home nursing care, mobile psychiatric care for seniors, household help or social support, as well as organizational and advisory services. A prerequisite is the receipt or application for care allowance levels 1 to 7 or a medical certificate confirming the necessary care or support requirements. For mobile psychiatric care, an additional specialist referral or corresponding medical report is required. Billing is based on hourly rates, with up to 90 hours financed per month; in exceptional cases, the quota can be extended up to 270 hours per quarter.
Applications can be submitted continuously and require proof of the care allowance level or medical certificates if no care allowance is received, as well as an overview of income and expenses. Eligible applicants are Austrian citizens or persons equated under the Tyrolean Minimum Security Act. The grant can cover direct costs of mobile care, thereby strengthening the independence and well-being of care recipients in their familiar environment. Through cooperation with the State of Tyrol based on a service agreement, high-quality and reliable care is ensured, meeting individual needs and relieving family members.
