The Berufsbildungswerk Burghausen (BBiW) is a non-profit foundation under civil law, established in 1969 by Wacker Chemie AG. As a certified training institution, BBiW offers comprehensive vocational training, advanced training, and continuing education programs in chemical, electrical, and metal professions. It operates as an experienced service provider for training companies, managing complete training courses as well as individual training phases or supplementary specialized courses. With modern workshops, laboratories, and a youth guesthouse, it supports trainees in a practice-oriented manner and coordinates all educational measures in accordance with statutory training regulations.
