About the funder
The Buckow Kids Foundation (Buckower Kinder und Jugend-Stiftung) was established in June 2011 by a committed citizen of Buckow. Its goal is to financially support projects and institutions for children and youth in and around Buckow using the proceeds from the foundation's assets. The foundation is legally recognized under § 80 of the German Civil Code (BGB) in conjunction with § 2 paragraph 1 of the Berlin Foundation Act. Since the funds are locally restricted, Buckow Kids primarily promotes initiatives and measures that strengthen the intellectual, cultural, social, and athletic development of young people on site.

Mission & Vision
With the proceeds from our foundation's assets, we aim to provide children and young people in Buckow with opportunities and support for their personal and social development. We are committed to ensuring that vital services such as playgrounds, cultural, sporting, and educational projects are maintained and that new initiatives are created. Our goal is to lay the foundation for a healthy and sustainable future for the young generation in our community.
Target groups
Our funding is aimed at children and young people in the Buckow district and the surrounding area. This includes, among others, kindergartens, schools, youth centers, as well as individual projects in the fields of sports, music, art, culture, and environmental education. We support both individual children and young people as well as groups and organizations that offer innovative concepts for promoting young people.
