Bürgerstiftung Seelze

Private foundation

About the funder

The Bürgerstiftung Seelze is a private foundation established under private law, created by citizens for citizens. Since its founding in December 2009, it has supported sustainable and future-oriented projects in the fields of education and upbringing, arts and culture, health and social affairs, environmental and nature conservation, as well as youth, elderly, and integration work in all districts of the city of Seelze. The foundation is politically and denominationally independent and supports charitable initiatives through financial resources, donated time, and organizational assistance. Its long-standing own projects include, among others, educational support at Seelze primary schools, the reading initiative "Julius-Club," and the promotion of the RoboCup working group at the Georg-Büchner-Gymnasium.
