Mission & Vision
The Buhck Foundation aims to provide children and young people with impulses for responsible environmental stewardship and to facilitate the integration of young people with a migration background into our society. It acts as a connecting force and cooperates with other foundations, associations, and institutions to effectively implement local educational and integration projects. In doing so, it is guided by the ideas of its founder, Carsten Buhck, and places transparency, responsibility, and respect towards all involved at the center of its work.
Target groups
Eligible to apply are non-profit initiatives, associations, and organizations that implement projects for children and youth. Funding is primarily provided for primary school children and young people facing challenging starting conditions (e.g., language barriers, family hardships), young people with a migration background, as well as educational institutions and environmental education actors in the Hamburg-Bergedorf district and the Stormarn and Herzogtum Lauenburg counties.
