About the funder
The Förderverein Christliche Sozialstiftung Hohentengen e.V. is a local, independent community foundation that operates together with the Caritas Foundation "Lebenswerk Zukunft" of the Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart based on Christian values. As an ecumenical organization, the foundation and association work closely with citizens, churches, clubs, and social service providers in the local area. The goal is to support young, elderly, and sick individuals, single persons, families, and refugees in the Göge region. Services range from visitation and transportation services to social meeting points and discussion groups, as well as financial assistance from the social fund.

Mission & Vision
"By people of our village community for people of our village community" – the support association Christliche Sozialstiftung Hohentengen e.V. aims to promote a solidaristic, intergenerational community in which everyone supports each other. Our concern is to help where there is need and to offer older fellow citizens a meaningful task. We believe in the power of personal care, Christian charity, and civic engagement.
Target groups
The support association is aimed at all residents of the Göge region (Hohentengen and surrounding areas) who require assistance or social support. This includes elderly and ill individuals, single persons, families in need, people with limited mobility, as well as refugees. At the same time, it addresses seniors who wish to volunteer and contribute their experience to the community.
