About the funder
The Günther Weber Foundation was recognized as a legal foundation under civil law by the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania on December 18, 2007. It was established by entrepreneur Günther Weber, founder of Weber Fleischereitechnik GmbH and world market leader in high-performance cutting machines. The purpose of the foundation is to promote child and youth welfare, education and upbringing, the protection of marriage and family, sports promotion, as well as animal breeding. The foundation’s work includes both its own projects and the support of charitable initiatives by third parties and is financed from an endowment currently amounting to EUR 600,000. In particular, the foundation is active in the Neubrandenburg region with offerings such as free organ concerts for children and youth as well as the annual STEM camp.

Mission & Vision
The aim of the Günther Weber Foundation is to sustainably support social and charitable projects in the fields of child and youth welfare, upbringing and education, marriage and family, sports, and animal breeding. The foundation sees itself as a framework for initiatives that open up new perspectives for children, young people, and families and, following its conviction, give back a part of entrepreneurial success to the community.
