About the funder
The Konrad Krieger Foundation is a non-profit foundation based in Wesel on the Lower Rhine. It purposefully supports projects in the fields of art and culture, nature and animal protection, as well as integrated research initiatives and youth work. The regional focus is on the Lower Rhine, while the funding area for youth work is limited to the scope of the Lower Rhine Chamber of Industry and Commerce Duisburg. As a partner, the foundation provides not only financial resources but also in-kind contributions, network access, and consulting services.

Mission & Vision
The Konrad Krieger Foundation aims to initiate diversity in the Lower Rhine region and establish long-term partnerships to sustainably strengthen art and culture as well as nature and animal protection. We believe in the power of creative and ecological projects and support individuals and organizations in turning their ideas into action and making a positive contribution to society and the environment.
Target groups
Individuals, emerging talents, experienced professionals, scientists, non-profit organizations, initiatives, non-governmental organizations, associations, and other legal entities are eligible for funding. The prerequisite is that the projects align with the statutory purposes of the foundation and ideally have a regional connection to the Lower Rhine.
