Kulturstiftung Schloss Wiepersdorf
About the funder
The Kulturstiftung Schloss Wiepersdorf is a legal foundation under public law based in Wiepersdorf (Teltow-Fläming district). It promotes art, culture, and science through an international and interdisciplinary residency program at the historic Schloss Wiepersdorf, the former residence of Bettina and Achim von Arnim. The foundation awards residency grants to individuals and groups in the fields of visual arts, composition, literature, as well as humanities and social sciences, with a focus on Romanticism and German-German issues. In addition, it organizes programs, exhibitions, and public debates, maintains the listed historic site, and, as part of Brandenburg’s cultural landscape, directs attention to Romanticism and German-German history.
