About the funder
The Kunststiftung K52 is a non-profit foundation under civil law in the field of art and culture. It was established primarily to preserve the artistic work of Christoph Radke and Nicolaus Schmidt and to make it accessible to the public. Since 2015, the foundation has awarded a biennial scholarship for visual artists aged 45 and over, which is accompanied by an exhibition in its premises at Kollwitzstraße 52 in Berlin. In addition, the foundation regularly organizes exhibitions in its own gallery spaces and accepts donations via GLS Bank to support its funding activities.
