Kunststiftung K 52

The Kunststiftung K52 is a non-profit foundation under civil law in the field of art and culture. It was established primarily to preserve the artistic work of Christoph Radke and Nicolaus Schmidt and to make it accessible to the public. Since 2015, the foundation has awarded a biennial scholarship for visual artists aged 45 and over, which is accompanied by an exhibition in its premises at Kollwitzstraße 52 in Berlin. In addition, the foundation regularly organizes exhibitions in its own gallery spaces and accepts donations via GLS Bank to support its funding activities.

The Kunststiftung K52 supports high-quality visual arts by offering scholarships and presentation opportunities in Berlin to established artists aged 45 and over. Additionally, it ensures the long-term preservation and visibility of the works of its founders, Christoph Radke and Nicolaus Schmidt. Through exhibitions and cultural events in its gallery spaces, the foundation aims to bring together artists and a broad audience, contributing to cultural discourse.

The scholarship program of the Kunststiftung K52 is aimed at visual artists residing in Germany who are at least 45 years old and whose artistic work is characterized by high quality and individuality. Both established and long-standing artists are supported, offering them a platform to present their work in a renowned Berlin gallery.
